SUMMARY:Music China 2025
DESCRIPTION:Music X\n\n\nMusic X aims to innovate new music technology\, explore new music consumption scenarios\, inspire musicians\, music lovers\, and content producers to explore future music life\, lowering the barriers for playing with music. \n  \n \nThese elements made Music X a huge hit last year. In 2024\, the Music X area featured nearly 40 industry-leading brands – including ACE Studio\, Antelope Audio\, MIDIPLUS\, Dreamtonics\, and Adam Audio – covering everything from synthesizers and effects to audio interfaces and other cutting-edge audio products. Building on that success\, Music China 2025 promises an even larger showcase of music technology innovations. \n \nThe heart of Music X is the X Stage – a high-profile platform hosting multi-dimensional events designed for both professionals and entry-level enthusiasts. Throughout the show\, this stage will feature new product launches\, live demos\, masterclasses\, and product roadshows\, bringing innovations to life in front of the audience. Companies can even take the stage to introduce their latest products or ideas\, making for an exciting\, interactive showcase. \n \nParticipants from last year’s event had great things to say about their Music X experience: \nFrom my observation\, I see unlimited potential in these products. They empower everyone who loves to create and perform music to make truly expressive sounds in any way they want. In my mind I often think: Generation Z is changing the world — there are a million things we haven’t done\, so just you wait. \n— Brand Ambassador \n  \nFrom the early Music Lab days to now Music X\, it gets better and more professional each year. Beyond the quality and service of the booths themselves\, the overall scale and demand of innovative music tech companies at home and abroad are expanding and becoming clearer. I hope more companies from around the world will participate so the event can grow to the size of multiple halls. \n— Exhibitor \n  \nThanks for all your help\, and let’s take a brief break and then start our planning for next year for a bigger and better Music China presence. \n— The MIDI Association

SUMMARY:Super Booth 2025
DESCRIPTION:The idea of Superbooth has a history of over 20 years. It all started as a part of the Musikmesse in Frankfurt\, when a handful of friends and like-minded nerds created their very own and special spot for synth enthusiasts. This common space presented a collection of small and passionate manufacturers of exotic hardware and electronic music instruments- the (original) SuperBooth.

SUMMARY:IASIG/IGDA Roundtable Talk
DESCRIPTION:Developing Deeper Player Engagement and Emotional Connection Through Sound and Design Roundtable (Presented by the IGDA)\nWednesday: IASIG/IGDA Roundtable Talk\, (Wed 2-3pm Room 301 South Hall) \nThe IASIG is dedicated to the art and technology of sound in games. Sound is a large part of what makes games fun and memorable. Why do certain pieces of music trigger strong memories and emotions? Why are organizations like the SF Symphony and others performing game music in the concert hall? Why does that one sound effect keep playing in your head? And what is it about the sound of a warp pipe that gets you excited for the adventure to come? \nHosted by the Interactive Audio Special Interest Group\, this engaging roundtable discussion will focus on bringing together folks from all parts of the development community. This roundtable brings together composers\, sound designers\, game designers\, Narrative Designers\, animators\, programmers\, producers\, and anyone else involved with game production and design. \nClassical California’s Jennifer Miller Hammel (Host/Curator/Producer of Arcade) and SF Conservatory’s Steve Horowitz (ED\, SFCM’s TAC program) will open up the floor for you to discuss the latest in sound and design with a focus on how great moments from game audio history can inform future game production. \nHow can the satisfying crunch of snow under a boot keep you moving forward? How can iterative design enhance player retention? How can adaptive audio add to the players sense of immersion? Let’s come together to develop a deeper understanding of each other’s art\, process and pipeline. \nDeveloping Deeper Player Engagement and Emotional Connection Through Sound and Design Roundtable
